QUADROS - LIVE IN NEW YORK
[21 June 2008] — Drummer Stephen Quadros recently performed live at "FrainaPalooza 2", a really cool all day benefit concert for Autism, in Yonkers, NY.
Quadros shared the stage with a star studded lineup that included:
-Mike Pinera (Blues Image, Iron Butterfly)
-Mark Stein (Vanilla Fudge)
-Vince Martell (Vanilla Fudge)
-Albert Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult)
-Tony Cavazo (Snow, Quiet Riot, Hurricane)

And YES, the gents played "Ride Captain Ride", "In A Gadda Da Vida", "School's Out " and more! Stephen's drum battle in "Godzilla" with Albert Bouchard was a sight to behold!
Stephen also MC'd the second half of the show!

MLC MAKES RARE APPEARANCE
[12 Apr 2008] — MLC played at The Knitting Factory (front stage) in Hollywood on Saturday, April 12th, 11:15pm.
"We don't play live that often, but when we do, trust me, it's a special event!" says MLC drummer Stephen Quadros
MLC is in the same vein as other classic high energy bluesy R&R quartets that have made lots of noise and had fun in process. Not surprisingly our influences are Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, Aerosmith, The Who and many others.
The band is comprised of Academy Award nominated filmmaker Peter Spirer (guitar), top ten songwriter Tony Cavazo (bass), music/film exec Barry Gordon (lead vocals) and Stephen Quadros (drums).

[29 Jan 2008] — "This song has been sitting in the can for six months, and it was just begging to be heard," says Whipped Cream drummer Stephen Quadros. "I always believed that 'I Feel Free' was a song that really let us, JT, Adam and myself, step into our own realm. Now we finally finished mixing it and added it to our MySpace page, so you can be the judge!"

Whipped Cream Live Dec. 28th
[28 Dec 2007] — The enigmatic Whipped Cream made a rare appearance at 14 Below in Santa Monica on:
December 28th.
Guitarist JT Curtis, drummer Stephen Quadros and bass player Adam Kury really blew off some steam because they have been hard at work on the 7th Sun album, and Whipped Cream is definitely the perfect extension of that group because it lets the boys really dive head first into their improvisational adventures.
"When I first read the add to audition for a Cream tribute band a few years back I thought, HELL YEAH! Cream drummer Ginger Baker has been such an inspiration to me and it's an honor to approximate his monumental work with one of the greatest super groups in rock history!" states Whipped Cream Stephen Quadros.
The band will performed crowd favorites "Sunshine Of Your Love", "White Room" and the goliath hyper-jam within a blues song - "Spoonful".

Quadros Plays Drums In Two Bands In One Night
[13 Oct 2007] — Hotshot drummer Stephen Quadros was pushed to the limit on Saturday, October 13th when he played with Becky Curtis and The Blu-Tones (10pm) AND 7th Sun (11:30pm) at Rusty's Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier.
"The last time I did this I regretted it for a couple of days afterwards, hahaha...but I couldn't resist," says busy drummer Stephen Quadros. "Becky Curtis is an extraordinary R&B vocalist in the same vein as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. And 7th Sun is a powerhouse of rock, funk and wild jams. JT, Adam and I even played a few songs as a trio, like "White Room" and our tour de force "Spoonful" (Curtis, Kury and Quadros are also in a Cream tribute band named Whipped Cream). I was honored to share the stage with all this talent and energy!"

Whipped Cream At Nocturnal
[31 Mar 2007] — Whipped Cream made a special appearance at Nocturnal on Saturday, March, 31st.
"It was one of those nights where we stepped into certain areas musically that we've always dreamed of," recounts Whipped Cream drummer Stephen Quadros. "The crowd was especially receptive to our extended jams and solos, sometimes cheering wildly in the middle of songs! When we played 'Spoonful' it was as if we entered into another dimension."
"I was really happy that some of my martial arts buddies were able to attend, including former world light-heavyweight kickboxing champion Don 'The Dragon' Wilson and retired world super-lightweight kickboxing champion Pete 'Sugarfoot' Cunningham. Now they know what I'm doing when I am NOT commentating on fights for TV, hahaha."

Sacred Cowboys Back At The Knitting Factory
[12 Feb 2007] — The Sacred Cowboys, who refer to themselves as "a shot of Hank and a shot of AC DC," once again showcased their 'versatility' at the world famous Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA.
The band includes actor W. Earl Brown (Deadwood, Something About Mary, Vanilla Sky) on guitar and vocals, Academy Award nominated film director Peter Spirer (Beef, Dunsmore, Thug Angel) on guitar, Jeff Robertson on guitar and vocals, Tony Cavazo (Snow, Hurricane, MLC) on bass, Mike Johnstone (Allman Joys, Riders of The Purple Sage) pedal steel guitar, Ralph Stevens on keyboards and Stephen Quadros on drums.

MLC Storms Back Into The Knitting Factory
[5 Feb 2007] — MLC (Modern Life Crisis), who have been called "the hottest hard-rock/blues quartet in Los Angeles," once again headlined the world famous Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA.
MLC features Barry Gordon (vocals), Peter Spirer, (guitar), Tony Cavazo (bass) and Stephen Quadros (drums). The group's sound has been compared to an amped up version of Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, Bad Company and The Who.
"Personally, I think we should have a record deal and be on every rock radio playlist in the country," says MLC drummer Stephen Quadros. "We are onto something special here. To me the band captures the energy of 'The Who Live At Leeds' and Led Zeppelin I-IV, and twists in all up and spits it out in the form of a 2007 mutant musical beast."

Sacred Cowboys Head Back To South Dakota
[20 June 2006] — For the second year in a row the Sacred Cowboys performed at the "Wild Bill Days" music festival in Deadwood, South Dakota.
"We opened for The Little River Band on Saturday (June 17) and then The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on Sunday (June 18)," says Sacred Cowboys drummer Stephen Quadros. "We really let loose on Sunday and some songs like 'Wrapped In Our Flag' had a visible effect on many in the crowd."
MLC Debut At The Knitting Factory

"We were thrilled at how the first gig went and with the response. It's good to know that people still react to a HARD ROCK group, hahaha!" says Quadros.

[12 May 2006] — The Marcus Singletary Band once again featured Stephen Quadros on drums, this time at the world famous Whiskey A Go Go on Friday, May 12th! The group also included Stephen's MLC/Sacred Cowboys bandmate Tony Cavazo on bass.
"We opened for CTA (California Transit Authority) which features Danny Seraphine, the original drummer with Chicago! Because Danny is such an influential percussionist, sharing the stage with him was a very big deal to me!" says drummer Stephen Quadros.

Sacred Cowboys Pack The Knitting Factory
[5 Nov 2005] — The Sacred Cowboys rocked the Knitting Factory on Saturday, November 5th to a packed house! Former Pantera bass player Rex Brown joined the group onstage for it's encore rendition of Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell."
"We played a long set and featured a number of new songs!" says Sacred Cowboys drummer Stephen Quadros. "It was one of those kind of evenings that we just didn't want to end."

[19 June 2005] — Sacred Cowboys played at the "Wild Bill Days" music festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 18th and 19th, 2005 in Deadwood, South Dakota.
"We opened for Survivor (of "Eye of The Tiger" fame) and Ambrosia on Saturday and then country music's hottest duo, Big & Rich, on Sunday," says Sacred Cowboys drummer Stephen Quadros. "There were over 30,000 people in attendance each day and CMT (Country Music Television) filmed a one-hour special over the weekend. No pressure. Hahaha."

[25 May 2005] — Sacred Cowboys performed at The Knitting Factory on Wednesday, May 25, 2005. The band used the opportunity to tryout new songs before there big upcoming engagements at 'Wild Bill Days' in Deadwood, South Dakota on June 18th and 19th.
"The Knitting Factory is a great local venue for us to play at and we had a pretty big crowd there for a Wednesday night. People seemed to really enjoy our Hank Williams meets AD/DC cross section of music. Sacred Cowboys Special Appearance At House Of Blues
[21 Mar 2005] — W. Earl Brown, vocalist for 'Sacred Cowboys' arranged for the group to play a special engagement at the world famous House of Blues.
Says drummer Stephen Quadros, "Earl is a regular on the HBO hit series 'Deadwood. He set up a gig for us to perform at House of Blues for the wrap party for the show's second season. Many of the cast and crew from the show were present. So in essence we played HOB for HBO. It was the usual lineup of Earl out front singing, me on drums, Peter Spirer on guitar and Jeff Robertson on guitar, but we have also added Tony Cavazo (Snow, Dangerface, Hurricane) on bass, Ralph Stevens on keyboards and Mike Johnstone (New Riders of The Purple Sage, Allman Joys) on steel guitar and mandolin."

The Marcus Singletary Band Featuring Stephen Quadros At The Gig
[30 Jan 2005] — "We are really starting to strut our stuff as a unit," says drummer Stephen Quadros. "Our bottom line is great music, whether it be rock, jazz or blues. At 'The Gig' we showcased 3 new songs: 'Spoonful' (Cream), '99 1/2' (Wilson Pickett, Creedence Clearwater) and 'Chitlins Con Carne' (Kenny Burrell).

1980 Snow EP Reviewed
[11 Jan 2005] —"It was one of those magical combinations," says drummer Stephen Quadros when remembering the ensemble of himself, guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot), bassist Tony Cavazo (Dangerface) and lead vocalist Doug Ellison, which was known as Snow. "We always tried to break new ground and stay true to ourselves musically. Snow took chances back then. It's kind of funny that we get more recognition NOW internationally than we did then."
Renowned bass guitarist Dave Harrison (Black Steel, Allegiance) does an excellent review (click on 'reviews', then click on 'Snow') on one of the rarest of metal music commodities, the 'Snow' 10" EP.
Stephen Quadros Appears With "The Men"
[26 Dec 2004] — "If you like 'The English Invasion' style rock from the 1960's then you will love 'The Men'," says drummer Stephen Quadros. "Playing the music of The Beatles, The Who, The Yardbirds, Eric Burdon, Dave Clark Five, etc, is kind of a spiritual experience for me."
The group features Stephen Quadros on drums, Chris Silagyi on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Grant Loud on guitar and vocals and Kirk Henry on bass and vocals. "The Men" performed their first live show on Sunday, Dec. 26 at at Joxer Daly's in Culver City, CA.
Sacred Cowboys Hit Restart
[12 Dec 2004] — Sacred Cowboys are in rehearsals for their next recording. Featuring the talents of Peter Spirer on guitar, W. Earl Brown vocals and guitar, Jeff Robertson bass and guitar and Stephen Quadros on drums, the band is dusting things off after an almost one year hiatus.
Drummer Stephen Quadros puts it this way: "2004 saw all of us get super busy in separate, non-musical activities. But now we were all chomping at the bit to get things rockin' again. 'Gear Grinding Daddy' got great response and landed on a movie soundtrack, so we're excited about making the time to record more songs. The tune 'First Day' is half way finished and today we started shaping a new one called 'Do You Sleep At Night' that will REALLY kick ass."

Marcus Singletary Band Features Stephen Quadros...Again

The Joint, which is located at 8771 West Pico Blvd., regularly has big name musicians like Roger Daltry and Robert Plant show up and sit in.
Sacred Cowboys On Film Soundtrack
Los Angeles hard rock/country blues group "Sacred Cowboys" just finished work on their new single "Gear Grinding Daddy", which has been selected for inclusion on the soundtrack of the soon to be released independent film "Dunsmore".
The band includes actor W. Earl Brown (Deadwood, Something About Mary, Vanilla Sky) on guitar and vocals, Academy Award nominated film director Peter Spirer (Beef, Dunsmore, Thug Angel) on guitar, Jeff Robertson on guitar, bass and vocals and Stephen Quadros on drums.
