MLC MAKES RARE APPEARANCE [12 Apr 2008] — MLC played at The Knitting Factory (front stage) in Hollywood on Saturday, April 12th, 11:15pm. "We don't play live that often, but when we do, trust me, it's a special event!" says MLC drummer Stephen Quadros MLC is in the same vein as other classic high energy bluesy R&R quartets that have made lots of noise and had fun in process. Whipped Cream's New Single: "I Feel Free" (Artwork by Russ Shawney/Atlantis 57 Studios) [29 Jan 2008] — "This song has been sitting in the can for six months, and it was just begging to be heard," says Whipped Cream drummer Stephen Quadros. "I always believed that 'I Feel Free' was a song that really let us, JT, Adam and myself, step into our own realm. Whipped Cream Live Dec. 28th [28 Dec 2007] — The enigmatic Whipped Cream made a rare appearance at 14 Below in Santa Monica on: December 28th. Guitarist JT Curtis, drummer Stephen Quadros and bass player Adam Kury really blew off some steam because they have been hard at work on the 7th Sun album, and Whipped Cream is definitely the perfect extension of that group because it lets the boys really dive head first into their improvisational adventures. "When I first read the add to audition for a Cream tribute band a few years back I thought, HELL YEAH! Quadros Plays Drums In Two Bands In One Night [13 Oct 2007] — Hotshot drummer Stephen Quadros was pushed to the limit on Saturday, October 13th when he played with Becky Curtis and The Blu-Tones (10pm) AND 7th Sun (11:30pm) at Rusty's Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier. "The last time I did this I regretted it for a couple of days afterwards, hahaha...but I couldn't resist," says busy drummer Stephen Quadros. "Becky Curtis is an extraordinary R&B vocalist in the same vein as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. And 7th Sun is a powerhouse of rock, funk and wild jams. Whipped Cream At Nocturnal [31 Mar 2007] — Whipped Cream made a special appearance at Nocturnal on Saturday, March, 31st. "It was one of those nights where we stepped into certain areas musically that we've always dreamed of," recounts Whipped Cream drummer Stephen Quadros. "The crowd was especially receptive to our extended jams and solos, sometimes cheering wildly in the middle of songs! When we played 'Spoonful' it was as if we entered into another dimension." Sacred Cowboys Head Back To South Dakota [20 June 2006] — For the second year in a row the Sacred Cowboys performed at the "Wild Bill Days" music festival in Deadwood, South Dakota. "We opened for The Little River Band on Saturday (June 17) and then The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on Sunday (June 18)," says Sacred Cowboys drummer Stephen Quadros. "We really let loose on Sunday and some songs like 'Wrapped In Our Flag' had a visible effect on many in the crowd."

Quadros At The Whiskey With The Marcus SIngletary Band [12 May 2006] — The Marcus Singletary Band once again featured Stephen Quadros on drums, this time at the world famous Whiskey A Go Go on Friday, May 12th! The group also included Stephen's MLC/Sacred Cowboys bandmate Tony Cavazo on bass. "We opened for CTA (California Transit Authority) which features Danny Seraphine, the original drummer with Chicago! "There were over 30,000 people in attendance each day and CMT (Country Music Television) filmed a one-hour special over the weekend. No pressure. Hahaha."

Sacred Cowboys Land At The Knitting Factory [25 May 2005] — Sacred Cowboys performed at The Knitting Factory on Wednesday, May 25, 2005. The band used the opportunity to tryout new songs before there big upcoming engagements at 'Wild Bill Days' in Deadwood, South Dakota on June 18th and 19th. Sacred Cowboys Special Appearance At House Of Blues [21 Mar 2005] — W. Earl Brown, vocalist for 'Sacred Cowboys' arranged for the group to play a special engagement at the world famous House of Blues. Says drummer Stephen Quadros, "Earl is a regular on the HBO hit series 'Deadwood. He set up a gig for us to perform at House of Blues for the wrap party for the show's second season. Many of the cast and crew from the show were present. So in essence we played HOB for HBO. It was the usual lineup of Earl out front singing, me on drums, Peter Spirer on guitar and Jeff Robertson on guitar, but we have also added Tony Cavazo (Snow, Dangerface, Hurricane) on bass, Ralph Stevens on keyboards and Mike Johnstone (New Riders of The Purple Sage, Allman Joys) on steel guitar and mandolin." The Marcus Singletary Band Featuring Stephen Quadros At The Gig [30 Jan 2005] — "We are really starting to strut our stuff as a unit," says drummer Stephen Quadros. 1980 Snow EP Reviewed [11 Jan 2005] —"It was one of those magical combinations," says drummer Stephen Quadros when remembering the ensemble of himself, guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot), bassist Tony Cavazo (Dangerface) and lead vocalist Doug Ellison, which was known as Snow. "We always tried to break new ground and stay true to ourselves musically. Snow took chances back then. It's kind of funny that we get more recognition NOW internationally than we did then." Renowned bass guitarist Dave Harrison (Black Steel, Allegiance) does an excellent review (click on 'reviews', then click on 'Snow') on one of the rarest of metal music commodities, the 'Snow' 10" EP. Sacred Cowboys Hit Restart [12 Dec 2004] — Sacred Cowboys are in rehearsals for their next recording. Featuring the talents of Peter Spirer on guitar, W. Earl Brown vocals and guitar, Jeff Robertson bass and guitar and Stephen Quadros on drums, the band is dusting things off after an almost one year hiatus. Drummer Stephen Quadros puts it this way: "2004 saw all of us get super busy in separate, non-musical activities. But now we were all chomping at the bit to get things rockin' again. 'Gear Grinding Daddy' got great response and landed on a movie soundtrack, so we're excited about making the time to record more songs. Sacred Cowboys On Film Soundtrack Los Angeles hard rock/country blues group "Sacred Cowboys" just finished work on their new single "Gear Grinding Daddy", which has been selected for inclusion on the soundtrack of the soon to be released independent film "Dunsmore".
The band includes actor W.
